Mrs. Amanda Ramirez works on family-based immigration cases specializing in Naturalization, Adjustment of Status, Asylum, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), Cancellation of Removal, and U visas. Prior to serving as an Immigration Paralegal, Mrs. Ramirez served as a Victim Service Officer to the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office in the Bessemer Cutoff Division assisting with Victims of violent crimes, and various administrative tasks.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Faulkner University in Montgomery, AL and graduated from Birmingham School of Law in May of 2021 with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) Degree.
She is also fluent in English and Spanish.
In her time away from the office, she shuttles her three children to their various activities, takes care of the family dog, Luna, and loves to travel, time at the beach, spending time with friends and family.
