Catholic Spirit: Catholic school gets $12 million from immigrant father of Amazon founder
Miguel Bezos, father of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, donated $12 million to a Delaware Catholic school that educated and housed him after he arrived in the United States from Cuba in the 1960s as an unaccompanied minor. He was one of 14,000 Cuban minors granted entry in a program organized by the Catholic Church.
