Asylum agreement with Mexico


Under a new agreement with Mexico, the Biden administration has begun expelling Cubans and Nicaraguans to Mexico ⁠— under Title 42 ⁠— denying them the chance to seek asylum. Title 42 is programmed to end May 23. Previously, Mexico only excepted expelled Mexicans, Guatemalans, Hondurans and Salvadorans.
