Russell W. Crumbley grew up in Huntsville, Alabama. Before becoming an attorney, he worked for 13 years as a radiologic technologist — mostly in surgical and emergency settings. That experience gave him a deep understanding of medical, scientific, and human factors that now inform his legal practice.

Russell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry from University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), and went on to earn his law degree from Birmingham School of Law.

After law school, Russell brought together his scientific background and legal training to represent clients across a wide range of practice areas. He is admitted to the Alabama State Bar and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
