AP: Poll finds overwhelming U.S. support for resettling Afghan allies
A new poll finds widespread U.S. support for resettling Afghans who worked with the U.S. and Afghan governments, with 72 percent favoring the granting of refugee status to Afghans passing security checks. A Catholic Charities official in Oklahoma City said he is receiving hundreds of offers to help arriving Afghans.
