Miami Herald: Immigration advocates want closure of federal detention centers
About 24 Floridians rallied to urge the Biden administration to close the Glades County Detention Center in Florida, the target of numerous complaints. The rally was part of a multi-city protest to push for the closure of detention centers, the ending of deportations and the freeing of detainees.
