National Catholic Register: Broken immigration system needs to be fixed
The U.S. immigration system is broken. Failure to secure our borders and seek just reform in how migrants are treated make laws ineffective and policies inadequate. Fixing this means adapting to changes in the human situation, such as globalization, which culturally, economically and politically links us to people around the world.
