Texas Tribune: Mexican farmworker killed after crossing Texas border, hoping to earn money to build a house
A Mexican farmworker crossed the border into Texas, hoping to join his brother and work painting houses. His aim was to earn enough money to return to Mexico and build a house for his wife and daughter. He was shot to death when he stopped to drink out of a reservoir.
