ABC/AP: Possible closure of migrant youth shelters could harm national program
The effort by Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott to close 56 shelters housing 4,000 migrant youths could disrupt a strained national program to care for unaccompanied minors crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. The Department of Health and Human Services said it doesn’t plan shelter closings but is assessing Abbott’s proclamation
