Mercy Sisters start San Diego center to help immigrants
Two Sisters of Mercy decided the best way to reach immigrants in need in San Diego was to open a parish center and be patient until people were ready to show up. The center provides food, clothing, job training and placement, mental health help, and COVID-19 vaccination information.
